Name

Full name

Birendra Open Source Club

Short name

BOSC

  • Use the full name the first time you mention the club, then BOSC.
  • Always write BOSC in capitals: not Bosc, bosc or B.O.S.C.
  • b0sc (with a zero) is only our GitHub and LinkedIn handle. Don't use it as the club's name.
  • BOSC is based at Birendra Multiple Campus, Chitwan, Nepal.

Logos

The logo has two parts: the wordmark (BOSC) and the mark, the open-source keyhole that forms the O. Use the wordmark whenever there is room, and the mark alone only where the wordmark would be too small to read.

Logo usage

Clear space

Wordmark with clear space

Keep empty space around the logo equal to at least half the height of the mark. Nothing else (text, images, other logos) goes inside that area.

Minimum size

Wordmark at minimum size Mark at minimum size
  • Wordmark: 120px wide on screen, 30mm in print.
  • Mark: 24px on screen, 8mm in print.
  • Below that, switch from the wordmark to the mark.

Collaborations

When BOSC appears next to partner logos, give every logo the same visual height and separate them with clear space or a thin vertical line.

Use the black or white version when partner logos are all shown in a single color.

Don't

  • Don't change the logo colors or apply gradients.
  • Don't stretch, squash, skew or rotate the logo.
  • Don't add shadows, outlines, glows or other effects.
  • Don't rebuild the wordmark in another typeface.
  • Don't place the full-color logo on busy photos or low-contrast backgrounds.
  • Don't rearrange or remove parts of the wordmark.

Colors

The logo colors belong to the logo. The website and digital material use the UI palette. Click a swatch to copy its hex code.
